I personally think she is best with Ocean Wave set. I am not a big fan of Abiding Panacea (in general), since there are no bonuses for excess healing. If the enemy inflicts you with Disease, “healing efficacy” is rendered useless.
In turn-based games, supports have to do more than just undoing some damage – even more so with Lauren where she grants extra turns to herself. She already heals based on max HP, so using Abiding Panacea is redundant. It’s not like she gives Recovery, either. (And upgrading her skills ALREADY increases the amount she heals).
With Ocean Wave, her kit is maximized. Since there seems to be no limit as to how much she can revive in an encounter. She needs to have her S3 resetting as much as possible.
You don’t necessarily use her for her heals, but for her revives and general utility. There are way better AOE healers if you need one.
That’s some interesting share and I agree with what you are saying.
Before, I was using her for healing mainly. But currently, I am coupling her with another support in the team, making the Ocean Wave is not way more important for her.
