Gaius
Zeus
DPS
Legendary founder of the Esper Union and, fittingly, inheritor of Zeus’s powers.
summary
Gaius is a very strong Fighter Esper who is able to switch between normal mode and God King mode, granting him two sets of abilities.
In normal mode: Gaius gains an ACC bonus and inflicts Sear upon dealing damage; Thunderstrike attacks 1 target, extends the target’s debuffs, and Stuns the target. Thunder Judgment attacks all enemies and dispels all their buffs. After ascension, it also inflicts Buff Blocker.
In God King mode: Gaius gains a C. RATE bonus and deals bonus damage. Thunderstrike becomes God King -Thunderstrike and deals AOE damage.
Thunder Judgment becomes God King – Judgment and deals higher damage. Gaius can cast Thunderstorm and God King – Thunderstorm to switch between normal and God King modes. By doing this, he gains another turn and resets the cooldown of Thunder Judgment or God King – Judgment.

us og gaius fans knew he wouldnt be scrapped
They seem really op for things like point war or bosses
so true
I’m confused why recommend Crit Rate since his God King mode gives 100% crit chance
It could be an overkill in some cases but if you use him quite a lot for auto farming, it’s totally okay! (as the system keeps using his ultimate).
maybe it has been updated since this post, but they recommend crit dmg not crit rate. Crit damage works great with 100% crit chance
is it just me or whenever gaius goes into god king mode the music changes
Oops really? Wow, I didn’t even notice that!
