Dislyte Update v1.5.2 Patch Notes

We will be taking Dislyte offline for a short time on December 28, 2021, 7:00-10:00 AM (UTC+0) to update and improve the game.

Lvl 5+ players at the time of the update will receive a 240 Nexus Crystal reward via in-game mail afterward. Note: The server may resume at an earlier or later time as necessary.

You will be unable to sign in during this period. Please be aware that it is coming and may force you to log out unexpectedly.

New Features

  • We’ve added a new Club mode; clear Story 5-8 to unlock this feature. Join a club and work together with club members to complete tasks and get lucrative rewards!
    ◇ Earn rewards and Club Points by completing Club Tasks. Club Points can be exchanged in the Club Shop for a variety of rewards such as Lauren (Heket) Ripples, Gold Records, and Divina.
    ◇ Club members can earn rewards and Club XP by participating in various club activities. Raise the club’s level by increasing your Club XP to expand your member count and unlock more items in the Club Shop.
    ◇ When the Ripple Dimension emerges, it will be shared together among club members.
    ◇ Chat to your heart’s content and make new friends in the club channel.
    Note: After this update, Lauren (Heket) will only be available in the Club Shop and cannot be drawn from the Gold Record card pool.

  • We’ve completely revamped long-term sign-in events to offer even more enticing rewards!
  • We’ve added new tactics exams for Arcana (Hermes), Chloe (Medea), Alexa (Aphrodite), and Tang Xuan (Sun Wukong).

Adjustments and Optimizations

  1. Esper growth-related changes:
    Level Ups and Star Promotions are now combined. When an Esper is lower than max level, players will be prompted to level them up; after an Esper reaches max level, players will be prompted to promote them.
    ◇ Now Espers can only level up with cards representing the same Esper or Channelers.
    ◇ We’ve provided instructions on how to obtain materials for Esper advancement and ability upgrades when lacking corresponding materials.
    ◇ We’ve switched the UI position of Ascension and Resonance on the Growth page.
    ◇ We’ve added a mark for Ascension in the Ability Description section.

  2. We’ve increased the probability of finding 6-Star Relics in the Ritual Miracle.

  3. We’ve increased the number of elemental wave drops in the Sonic Miracle.

  4. We’ve expanded the career backgrounds and phrases of the 58 Espers that can be drawn from the Gold Record card pool.

  5. We’ve changed part of the story for Chapter 1-10.

  6. We’ve adjusted the quest points algorithm to make it easier to get Activeness without changing the content. And the Activeness rewards for quests is optimized :
    ◇20 daily Activeness: added a Greater Channeler
    ◇40 daily Activeness: added 2 Basic Divine Wave Omnipacks
    ◇80 daily Activeness: added 2 level maxed 2-Star Divina
    ◇60 weekly Activeness: added a level maxed 3-Star Divina

  7. We’ve reduced the chance of triggering Esper ultimate animations in Ripple Dimension or Infinite Miracle battles.

  8. We’ve increased the additional ATK stats Phobetor gains upon the death of a follower in Spatial Tower L100 and Temporal Tower L50.

  9. From now on, certain Relics will be dropped at the 1st, 3rd, 5th and 8th stages of each chapter. Each chapter’s Relic drops can be viewed by tapping on the exclamation mark in the upper right corner of the Chapter section.

  10. We’ve added a new Delete Read Mail feature to the mail system. Now, you can instantly delete all read mail (excluding mail with unclaimed rewards).

  11. We’ve optimized the game’s display.

  12. We’ve added a second confirmation pop-up when exiting a battle.

  13. We’ve increased the battle XP provided in Story Chapter 3-12 (Easy) and Chapter 1-12 (Hard), including Practice Stages.

  14. Some mission content and rewards have been changed in the Path to Mastery event.

Esper Balance Changes

Note: The following ability values are based on the ability’s max level.

1. Triki (Loki)

Ability 3 – Revolver changes:

  • Original effect: Deals damage to all enemies equal to 120% of ATK, inflicting [Miss Rate Up] and [Buff Blocker] for 2 turns. When damage is dealt, extends debuffs on the targets by 1 turn.
  • New effect: Attacks all enemies 3 times, each dealing damage equal to 40% of ATK with a 75% chance of dispelling 1 buff from targets and inflicting [Miss Rate Up] for 2 turns. The first strike extends all target debuffs by 1 turn.

Reason for these changes: Triki is a highly specialized PvP Esper, but this severely limits his usability in the game’s environment. At the same time, we’ve noticed a significant demand for dispel abilities, so we’ve given Triki an AoE dispel with multi-stage probability, so that he’s a more popular choice in a wider range of scenarios.

2. Narmer (Ra)

Burning Sun (buff) changes:

  • Original effect: Each Burning Sun increases damage by 10%. Max 5 stacks.
  • New effect: Each Burning Sun increases damage by 7%. Max 8 stacks.

Ability 3 – Emblazoned Strike changes:

  • Original effect: Deals damage equal to 100% of ATK to all enemies. This attack consumes all of Ra’s Burning Suns, and each Burning Sun increases the damage dealt by 10%. If Ra has 3 or more Burning Suns, then this attack ignores 40% of enemy DEF. If Ra has 5 Burning Suns, then this attack reduces all ability cooldowns by 1 turn.
  • New effect: Deals damage equal to 100% of ATK to all enemies. This attack consumes all of Ra’s Burning Suns, and each Burning Sun increases the damage dealt by 7%. If Ra has 5 or more Burning Suns, then this attack ignores 40% of enemy DEF. If Ra has 8 Burning Suns, then this attack reduces all ability cooldowns by 1 turn.

Reason for these changes: Narmer’s third ability increases damage based on the number of Burning Suns stacked, and yields the most powerful buff after stacking the maximum number of Burning Suns. He is designed to be a strong nuker, but his buff stacking was too fast in relation to the game’s environment. To address this, we’ve increased the cap on how many times the buff can be stacked, while slowing down its stacking speed. In addition, we’ve increased damage dealt when the buff is capped to provide a more pleasant final strike experience.

3. Biondina (Poseidon)

Ability 2 – Tsunami changes:

  • Original effect: Deals damage equal to 90% of ATK to all enemies and dispels 1 buff from each. Has a 50% chance of dispelling all buffs.
  • New effect: Changed to a passive ability
  • Prior to Ascension: Dispels 1 buff from a random enemy with a 100% chance of dispelling a second buff at the start of each turn. This effect is guaranteed not to miss.
  • After Ascension: Dispels 1 buff from a random enemy with a 100% chance of dispelling all other buffs at the start of each turn. This effect is guaranteed not to miss.

Ability 3 – Fury of the Waters changes:

  • Original effect: Initial cooldown takes 5 turns (4 turns if max ability level).
  • New effect: Initial cooldown takes 4 turns (3 turns if max ability level).

Reason for these changes: Damage dealt by Biondina’s third ability fluctuates greatly depending on the number of buffs a target has. When a target has no buffs, the ability can have a dramatic effect and reach up to 100% ignore defense. Although we designed this AoE dispel for her second ability, it made it difficult for the effect to apply to her third ability due to the long interval between turns. Because of this, we decided to change the second ability to be passive, so that it could randomly select an enemy to dispel at the beginning of each turn and grant a chance of dispelling all buffs. Now it’s more easily to unleash the full potential of Biondina’s third ability.

4. Hyde (Hades)

Ability 2 – Reaper (Passive) changes:

  • Original effect: Immune to buffs and debuffs. Grants a Breath of the Deep stack per attempt to buff or debuff Hyde; grants 10 Breath of the Deep stacks upon the death of an ally. Max 50 stacks.
  • New effect: Hyde is immune to buffs and debuffs and takes 10% reduced damage from all sources. Grants a Breath of the Deep stack per attempt to buff or debuff Hyde; grants 10 Breath of the Deep stacks upon the death of an ally. Max 50 stacks.

Reason for the changes: Hyde is an Esper who grows stronger over time. Because of this, he is usually the target of enemy attacks early in the battle. Our response was to apply a 10% damage reduction to enemy attacks in order to improve his chances of surviving into the battle’s later stages.

5. Kara (Serket)

Ability 1 – Scorpion Claw changes:

  • Original effect: Deals damage to an enemy equal to 120% of ATK with a 60% chance of inflicting SPD Down for 2 turns.
  • New effect: Deals damage to an enemy equal to 120% of ATK with a 60% chance of inflicting Diseased for 2 turns.

Ability 3 – Doomstroke changes:

  • Original effect: Deals damage to all enemies equal to 130% of ATK while inflicting Diseased for 2 turns.
  • New effect: Deals damage to all enemies equal to 130% of ATK and inflicts a SPD Down debuff for 2 turns while extending all Poison debuffs on targets by 1 turn.

Reason for the changes: We swapped the effects of Kara’s first and third abilities to give her greater disable and support capabilities. Kara’s new design now makes her a stronger presence in poison-oriented teams.

6. Ren Si (Black Tortoise)

Ability 1 – Turtler changes:

  • Original effect: Deals damage to a target equal to 30% of ATK plus 80% of DEF with a 70% chance of inflicting ATK Down for 2 turns.
  • New effect: Deals damage to a target equal to 30% of ATK plus 80% of DEF with a 70% chance of inflicting DEF Down for 2 turns.

Ability 2 – Life-giver (Passive) changes:

  • Original effect: Enters Standoff for 1 turn and resets the cooldown for Ability 3 upon suffering a fatal injury. Restores 30% HP when Standoff ends. Whenever Black Tortoise’s DEF is higher than the target’s, he deals bonus damage equal to the percentage of how much higher his DEF is compared with the target’s.
  • New effect: Enters Standoff for 1 turn and resets the cooldown for Ability 3 upon suffering a fatal injury, granting counterattacks and restoring 30% HP upon ending. Whenever Black Tortoise’s DEF is higher than the target’s, he deals bonus damage equal to the percentage of how much higher his DEF is compared with the target’s.

Ability 3 – True Warrior changes:

  • Original effect: Deals damage to all enemies equal to 50% of ATK plus 50% of DEF with a 50% chance of inflicting Taunt for 1 turn. If the target has a lower DEF than Black Tortoise, then the chance of inflicting the debuff doubles.
  • New effect: Deals damage to all enemies equal to 100% of DEF with a 50% chance of inflicting Taunt for 1 turn. If the target has a lower DEF than Black Tortoise, then the chance of inflicting the debuff doubles.

Reason for these changes: We’ve adjusted the damage multiplier for Ren Si’s third ability to make him an offensive Tank Esper in the purest sense. At the same time, we added a passive that counterattacks while Standoff is active and adjusted the effect of his first ability from ATK Down to DEF Down, in order to improve the frequency of his attacks after triggering Standoff and his DPS after the Standoff ends.

7. Layla (Medjed)

Ability 2 – Berserker Ray changes:

  • Original effect: Dispels a debuff from each allied Esper. Deals damage equal to 200% of ATK to an enemy with a 75% chance of inflicting Diseased for 2 turns. Any debuffs dispelled will transfer into Poison and be inflicted on the target for 1 turn.
  • New effect: Transfers 1 debuff from all team members to an enemy and then deals damage equal to 200% of ATK with a 75% chance of inflicting Diseased for 2 turns. This attack deals +100% bonus damage to targets inflicted with Poison.

Ability 3 – Gaze of the True Gods changes:

  • Original effect: Attacks all enemies twice, each dealing damage equal to 55% of ATK with a 100% chance of inflicting Poison for 2 turns.
  • New effect: Attacks all enemies twice, each dealing damage equal to 55% of ATK with a 100% chance of inflicting Poison for 3 turns.

Reason for these changes: Due to Layla’s low popularity, we’ve extended the number of turns she can inflict poison for when using her third ability and adjusted the effect of her second ability so that it deals greater damage to poisoned targets. We anticipate that in the future Layla can be a key piece for poison-oriented teams.

Bug Fixes

  1. We’ve fixed an issue preventing players from claiming the Activeness rewards immediately after reaching 100 daily Activeness.

  2. We’ve fixed a display issue preventing the XP bar from showing 100% after players reached Squad Level 60.

  3. We’ve fixed an issue preventing Narmer’s (Ra) abilities from being upgraded when he is at Ascension Phase III.

  4. We’ve fixed a display issue where the buff icons and chat pop-up were overlapping in the Temporal Tower.

  5. We’ve fixed an algorithm error preventing players from claiming rewards after completing Achievement – Master of Time.

  6. We’ve fixed an issue with the Bag system preventing the items from being bulk sold.
